My academic, professional, and personal interests lie in the fields of communication, information, and language. Personally, I enjoy reading, writing, editing, overanalyzing verbal communications, learning, searching for information, and communicating with other people through both talking and writing messages.

I recently graduated with a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the ALA-accredited library school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Currently, I'm pursuing a master's degree in English at UH Manoa.

The fields I worked in include higher education (more specifically the University of Hawaii system), academic libraries, publishing, student journalism, health science research, government, public relations, and marketing.
